The Mica Medal

MICA has instituted a new award be entitled The Minerals Industry Consultants Medal (“the MICA Medal”) with 2008 the inaugural award year.

The award is for outstanding professional conduct in the service of the minerals industry, the AusIMM and the wider community. Nominees should be practicing consultants to the minerals industry, with a record of distinguished service to the industry, the institute and the community generally. Nomination is be restricted to AusIMM and MICA members, irrespective of Chartered status.

Anyone considering making a nomination can view the nomination form. Nominations should be submitted by 30 June and can be made online.
